Temporarily Back to Regular Programming

Pumpkin - Queensland Blue

I had to take a photo of this beauty before Riscy went at it with the knife.  I took the photo on Saturday at about noon, our first cold day of the year.

The pumpkin made a lovely soup too  :-)

Nothing much got done tonight, not even spinning.  I did spend some time browsing around on the net, reading here, reading there.

Isabelle Whitworth's Studio Log has captured my interest this week.

The collaborative illustration blog Drawn led me to the some incredibly beautiful computer generated art at Complexification. It makes me wish I hadn't sucked so badly at computer programming at uni.  I wouldn't have even got through except I was surrounded by gifted blokes more than willing to help me out (how nice).

Talking about Uni.  Looks like I might get a short lecturing gig next semester at a campus nearby .... ok all those who went to uni with me can stop laughing now, I'm serious.

A blog I have enjoyed tonight is Working Artist Jounal of Anna Conti.

And before I skedaddle off to bed tonight I want to mention how much I love Tori Amos' album Boys for Pele, a longterm relationship that is well into its tenth year.  Riscy may regret putting this album on tonight because I all of a sudden feel the need to relisten to all her albums again - where the hell did I throw The Beekeeper CD? (Lynne has been trying to convince me it is worth perservering with - Hmmm).
