New Home

I thought you might be interested in seeing our new home in the town flats in Nhulunbuy, NT. Chris and I are very pleased with the way the flat has come together as we had been pretty worried that we wouldn't like living here because of the size and age of the accommodation. I like it as much as our old house, except I don't have my own workroom.

I haven't been very creative since I got here, I think I needed time to recover from the stress of moving (and it was suprisingly stressful), and get used to to being in a totally different place and a new job etc.

But have done a little bit of felting and embroidery which I will share with you over the coming days.

Thanks for the tour, Claire.

Thanks for the tour, Claire. But ... how dare you skip over the gorgeous Dredger quilt and not mention it nor show it better???? Shame on you, woman! Good luck to you and Chris and the pup in your new setting.

LOL Fulvia, The dredger

LOL Fulvia, The dredger quilt has sort of blended into the background of my life, it didn't even occur to me to mention it!!

Thanks for the good wishes. Cheers, Claire

Great tour- thanks! It

Great tour- thanks! It looks like a nice cozy apartment, and I love how you hung the Dredger Quilt over the couch. I'd enjoy seeing pictures of the cockatoos! It sounds like there are lots and lots of birds in the yard down below.

Hi Sue,  I think you would

Hi Sue,  I think you would be endlessly entertained here.  There are millions of parrots all over the place too and yesterday we saw some beautiful finch-like birds.  I'm going to purchase a bird book so I can identify what I'm seeing.

Cheers, Claire
